School bus caught in crossfire during Logan shooting
PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Philadelphia police are investigating a shooting in the city's Logan section.
"42 shots were fired from semi-automatic weapons. We found 42 spent shell casings at the intersection of 19th and Wingohocking," said Philadelphia Police Department Chief Inspector Scott Small.
According to police, the shooting captured on real time crime cameras, showed four men all armed with semi- automatic guns getting out of a red car with tinted windows. Cops say it appears they were shooting at two men on the corner by the bodega. One man was shot in the ear.
During all this, a school bus passed through. Fortunately, the driver and two passengers escaped injury despite all the shots that hit the bus.
The motive is unknown at this time, but the man who was shot told police he believed the shooters were aiming for the man standing next to him. The lone victim is in stable condition.
