Search on for gunman after man, 31, shot and killed on street

POINT BREEZE (WTXF) - Police are investigating after a 31-year-old man was found shot several times, lying on the street in Point Breeze. Many evidence markers surround the scene.

They say they got a call about shots fired in the 1700 block of Dickinson Street at about 8:35pm.

They rushed the victim to the hospital but he was pronounced dead about 20 minutes later. His name hasn't been released, pending family notification.

Police say they don't have a motive or suspect at this point, but the investigation is active and ongoing
