SEPTA Suspends Most Operations Saturday

SEPTA will "suspend operations" for a 24-hour period beginning at 4 a.m. Saturday, SEPTA general manager Jeffrey D. Knueppel announced in a press conference Friday morning.

The closure is subject to change, depending on weather conditions, and the Broad and Market Street lines will remain open.

SEPTA expects to have service back on line Sunday morning, but that is subject to downed power lines, wind and other considerations.

Everyone who does not need to travel is urged not to do so
