Police in Middletown Township say a man was killed after being struck by a train on SEPTA's West Trenton Line.

The incident occurred around 10:00 a.m. Sunday morning about a mile North of the Woodbourne train station.

SEPTA officials say the engineer spotted the male victim on the tracks and applied emergency breaks, as well as the horn, but was unable to stop in time.
