Shooting in West Philadelphia injures three young people

Police in West Philadelphia are investigating after a shooting injures three young people.

Police were called to the 6000 block of Ludlow Street Sunday night just before 8 on the report of a shooting.

Police discovered an 8-year-old with a gunshot wound on the right side of his face. He was rushed to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and placed in stable condition.

Police discovered a 16-year-old shot in the foot. The victim was transported to CHOP and placed in stable condition.

A 15-year-old was shot once in the hip, investigators say. That victim was transported to CHOP and placed in stable condition.

Officials say the investigation is ongoing. No weapons have been found and no arrests have been made.
