Stretch of I-95 in Philadelphia reopens following triple shooting investigation: police
PHILADELPHIA - Authorities say three people were injured in a shooting that shutdown a stretch of Interstate 95 in Philadelphia early Wednesday morning.
Troopers from the Pennsylvania State Police were called to the Academy Road exit around 2:30 a.m. for reports of a shooting on the highway.
Authorities say two Trenton men, ages 25 and 29, and a Morrisville man were found suffering from gunshot wounds.
One of the injured men was taken to the hospital in critical condition, according to police. The two other victims' injuries are not considered life-threatening.
Investigators found a Chevy riddled with bullet holes on its passenger's side on the highway.
Police have not shared information on a motive for the shooting or a description of the shooters.
