Suspect in Croydon teen's murder charged with stealing guns

Authorities in Bucks County have charged a 20-year-old man with stealing two guns following the death of his teenage cousin in Croydon last week.

Police say Colin Haag, 20, has been identified as a suspect in the death of his cousin, 14-year-old Autumn Bartle, but has not been charged in her murder at this time.

Bartle's parents found her suffering from multiple stab and gunshot wounds at their home on the 400 block of Sycamore Avenue around 6:30 p.m. on Friday. She was taken to St. Christopher's Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries on Monday.

Following the incident, Haag, who had been living with the Bartle family, was found by Bensalem Police along State Road. Haag was found suffering from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the neck, and officers found he was in possession of two handguns that were reported stolen from the Bartle home.
