Suspect in Custody After MLK High School Placed on Lockdown for Possible Threat

Police have apprehended a suspect after Martin Luther King High School was placed on lockdown early Wednesday, due to a possible threat.

Authorities say a male suspect was taken into custody at the nearby Fern Rock Train Station, in connection with an earlier incident outside of the school's grounds.

The lockdown has since been lifted.

The school is located on the 6100 block of Stenton Ave in the Germantown section of Philadelphia.
