Suspect sought after mini mart robbery in Franklinville

FRANKLINVILLE, Pa. (WTXF) - Police are looking for a suspect who they say robbed the Rising Sun Mini Market in Franklinville.

Police say the suspect entered the Rising Sun Mini Market located at 3428 North 11th street around 2:15 p.m. on Tuesday.

The suspect entered the store armed with a handgun demanding money from the 33-year-old employee working at the time. The store employee handed over approximately $30, and the suspect fled the store.

Officials say he was last seen running west on Rising Sun Avenue then north on 3400 Marvine Street.

This is an ongoing investigation. If anyone has any information, please contact police immediately.
