Suspect Sought in Hunting Park Shooting

Philadelphia Police are seeking a suspect in a December 14 incident in Hunting Park in which an 11-year-old girl was shot in the right heel.

The incident took place at 3:22 p.m., when the 11-year-old was walking from the McClure School. She then heard several gunshots, and when struck her in the heel.

A witness said he observed an unknown white male firing several shots from Franklin Street at an unknown male who fled west on Luzerne Street with the shooter chasing him. A second complainant said the shooter struck his windshield.

The shooter is described as a white male, 20 years of age, with facial hair, and wearing a black knit cap, black pants, black long sleeve shirt with a possible dragon type design on the front.
