Suspect sought in Wilmington hit-and-run

Police are asking for the public's help identifying a woman suspected of a hit-and-run that took place Friday afternoon in Wilmington.

Around 2 p.m., officers responded to the 700 block of Philadelphia Pike, where a pedestrian waiting for the bus was struck by a vehicle in reverse.

Police say the suspect, who was driving a dark green SUV believed to be a Subaru Forester, fled the scene. The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries.
