Suspects sought in TD bank robbery

PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) Authorities are seeking the public's assistance to identify and locate four suspects in connection with a robbery at the TD Bank branch on the 4000 block of City Avenue.

According to authorities, shortly before 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, two males entered the bank. Police say one of the suspects approached the counter and handed a teller a demand note, while the second male took a seat near the door. Investigators say the teller handed over $800 in cash and a dye pack. The two suspects turned and headed for the front door. They got into a black Chevy Impala, joining two others suspects, police say

The two suspects in the vehicle are described as black males. The third suspect wore a dark-colored shirt and tan hat and the fourth suspect wore street clothes as well, authorities say.

Police and the FBI say the suspects are considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information about this robbery or these subjects is urged to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Philadelphia Police Department. There is a reward for information leading to these subjects' capture; tipsters can remain anonymous.
