NAPERVILLE, IL (WTXF)- A 44-year-old teacher from Illinois has been charged with sexually abusing a 16-year-old boy.
Police say 44-year-old Christine Taylor assaulted the boy on New Year's Day after inviting him and his mother over for pizza.
According to an affidavit, Taylor talked the teen's mother into walking her dog with her.
Rather than walk the dog, police say Taylor took the teen up to her bedroom where she sexually abused him, until she was caught in the act by the boy's mother.
Another person inside the home called police, and Taylor, a junior high school teacher, was arrested.
She was held on $300,000.
While the victim was not a student at Taylor's place of work, State Attorney Robert Berlin said in a statement that Taylor, "Still holds a position of trust in the community."
