Teen charged with slashing tires on dozens of vehicles

There is now an arrest after someone slashed the tires on dozens of vehicles, back on June 18.

Warminster police say they caught Collin Francis Jones of Southampton after reviewing surveillance videos and conducting several interviews.

The damage reportedly included slashed tires on 59 vehicles, and 27 of them at Lafferty's Chevrolet alone.

The cost to replace the tires is estimated to be about $37,000.

Jones, 19, is charged with criminal mischief, possession of an instrument of crime, disorderly conduct and criminal trespass, a summary.

He's being held in the Bucks County Correctional Facility after a separate incident on Tuesday. Police say Jones got into a fight with an underage boy at an apartment complex and during that fight, he took out two knives and stabbed the other person's arm causing a large puncture wound.

Jones is charged with aggravated assault, terroristic threats, possession of an instrument of crime, simple assault and harassment for that incident.
