Teen graduates from college before high school
A Wisconsin teen received his college diploma Saturday before he has even graduated high school.
Jordan Leslie has been standing out from his peers since the moment he first set foot on campus at Lakeshore Technical College. A school official even thought he was a lost visitor at one point.
At the time, Leslie was a quick-witted 15-year-old on a mission.
On Saturday, he picked up his Associate's Degree in I.T., two weeks before his graduation date from high school.
"I've never known anyone nearby that's done that before so I was like, you know what? I'd love to do it I'd love to try and go for it, and if I go for something I'm going to give it my best - that's just how I am."
Leslie kept a 4.0 GPA at both schools and now the 17-year-old will be the Valedictorian when he does this all again with his high school classmates in a few weeks.
Next year, he plans on going back to Lakeshore to start a second Associate's Degree in the school's electromechanical program.
Leslie said he's the first in his family to earn a college degree.
