Temple University student dies after being found unresponsive in library

PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Temple University is mourning the loss of one of their students after he was found unresponsive in the school's library on Monday morning.

The university says 24-year-old Michael Payatas was found unresponsive in the Paley Library Monday and was rushed to the hospital where he later died.

Payatas was a fourth-year marketing major who had transferred to Temple from Delaware County Community College back in 2014.

Officials have not released the cause of death.
