Tornado watch in effect for parts of the area

Heavy rain and high winds have moved into the area. Some of the rainfall could be heavy, which may result in flash flooding. A flash flood warning is in effect for Philadelphia, the suburbs and the Allentown area until 2 a.m. Thursday.

Thousands of people are currently without power due to the line of storms. Gusty winds are expected during the day on Thursday. Temperatures will fall during the day from the 50s to the 40s to the 30s and 20s by Friday a.m.
