Towamencin police officer struck during traffic stop

Upper Gwynedd, Pa. (WTXF) - A Towamencin police officer was struck by a vehicle while conducting a traffic stop.

It happened shortly before 9 p.m. Tuesday.

The officer was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The striking vehicle did stop. No word on arrests or charges at this time
