Travelers who were aboard NJ Transit Train 1614 when it crashed two weeks ago in Hoboken have been given permission to retrieve their personal belongings.

According to a press release, NJ Transit has set up an area at Hoboken Terminal - the Customer Service Office located in front of Track 14 - to gather their personal property.

Officials say that most of the items were recovered from the scene; however some items could not be accessed at this time.

Customers will need to present ID to retrieve their belongings.

Partial rail service is expected to resume on Monday at Hoboken Terminal, where the waiting room, Customer Service Office, and restrooms will be open.

Also, limited ticket vending machines will be located in the waiting room. However, travelers are encouraged to download the NJ Transit app and sign up for MyTix to purchase their tickets.
