BETHLEHEM, PA (WTXF) - Police have released more details regarding the crash that caused a Lehigh University Rowing bus to flip over on Route 22 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania Tuesday night.
A Pennsylvania State Police Trooper says he pulled over 28-year old Rodney Sigley for following too closely earlier that night.
The trooper says Sigley claimed he didn't have a license. When the trooper went back to his car to run his information, Sigley took off.
This happened before his car slammed into a bus in Bethlehem.
Moments later, Sigley smashed his car into a bus carrying the Lehigh University rowing teams.
The bus flipped on the highway, and Sigley did not survive the crash.
A university official says all 18 members of the men and women's rowing team, and the bus driver are doing fine.
