Truck hits overpass, drags roof for 3 miles
NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - A truck hit an overpass overnight, dragging its roof for more than three miles through North Philadelphia.
Police say the incident started around 10 p.m. Monday near 12th and Callowhill Streets when the driver crashed into an overpass, peeling off the truck's roof.
The truck finally came to a stop at 21st Street and Point Breeze Avenue.
The Truck Enforcement Department is now looking into the incident.
No other vehicles are believed to be damaged.
