Turkey stops traffic so flock can cross safely

Why did the turkey cross the road? Who knows! But we do know that they did so very safely.

Video taken in Litchfield, New Hampshire on March 14 shows a group of turkeys crossing a busy roadway.

However, one of the turkeys appeared to be playing crossing guard and stopped in the middle of the road to halt traffic and made sure all the other turkeys safely crossed.

Once everyone had made their way to the other side of the road, the watchful turkey joined his flock and they resumed their trek.
