Two men caught on surveillance video robbing East Germantown bar at gunpoint
EAST GERMANTOWN (WTXF) - Philadelphia Police are searching for two men who robbed an East Germantown bar Thursday night.
The incident occurred at Charlie B bar located at 151 East Chelten Avenue at 11:30 p.m.
Two unknown black males entered the bar armed with handguns.
One went behind the bar demanding that the employees, a 44-year-old male and a 29-year-old female, open the registers.
The second male remained at the door and demanded the patrons on the ground to take out their money.
An employee complied with their demands and the man behind the bar took a unknown amount of cash from the register while the second man took an unknown amount of cash from the patrons.
Both then fled the bar in an unknown direction. No injuries were reported during the incident, nor were any shots fired.
The first suspect is described as a black male 5'11"-6'0", with a slim build and wearing a red shirt, blue jeans, and a mask covering his entire face.
The second suspect is described as a black male 5'11"-6'0", with a medium build, wearing a hooded sweatshirt, dark-colored pants and gloves and mask covering his entire face.
