Two men critical after shooting in North Philadelphia

Police are investigating a double shooting in North Philadelphia.

Police were called to the 1200 block of West Silver Street just before 9 p.m. Sunday on a reported shooting.

Investigators say two men were found wounded by gunshots. A 44-year-old man was shot once in the upper back. A 24-year-old man was found with four gunshot wounds. He was shot once in the left buttock, twice in an arm and once in the left leg.

Both men were transported to Temple University Hospital and both are listed as critical.

The investigation is ongoing. No arrests have been made and no weapon has been recovered.
