Two men shot dead in North Philadelphia home

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Two people are dead following a shooting in a North Philadelphia home Wednesday night.

The incident occurred in a home on the 2000 block of Turner Street at 9:49 p.m.

When officers arrived after receiving a call for a report of a shooting, they discovered two victims inside the home, both suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

The first victim, a 45-year-old male, was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:05 p.m.

The second victim, a 41-year-old male, was taken to Temple Hospital where he succumbed to his wounds at 1:41 a.m.

The victims' identities are not available at this time pending family notification. The investigation is active and ongoing.
