Two New Jersey State Police Vehicles Struck by Lightning
Authorities say two New Jersey State Police vehicles were struck by lightning around 2:13 p.m. Tuesday in Middle Township.
According to NJ State Police, two troopers were sitting in their patrol vehicles on the Garden State Parkway at a construction zone when both vehicles were struck. State Police say the troopers did not sustain serious injuries. One trooper was taken to AC Medical Center for observation, while the other trooper did not require medical attention. There's no word on the troopers' identities at this time.
