Two officers injured in hit and run, suspect at large

PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Police are searching for a hit and run driver that sent two Philadelphia police officers to the hospital early Thursday morning.

The crash happened around 3:30 a.m. at G Street and Erie Ave. in the city's Juniata section.

Police say the officers were rear-ended, and driven a parked car and then into a wall.

Officials say the officers were in plain clothes in an unmarked car at the time of the crash.

Both officers were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
