Video: Armed robbery suspect demands cash from Metro PCS employee

Philadelphia police are looking to identify and locate a man they say robbed a Metro PCS store Tuesday morning.

Surveillance video from the incident shows the suspect entering the store with a shirt on his head and a black plastic bag in his hand. Once inside the store, police say the suspect pulled a handgun from inside the black bag and pointed it at the 32-year-old employee, and demanded money.

The employee complied with the suspect's demands and gave him approximately $200 from the register before he fled the store on foot. He was last seen on Girard Avenue heading east towards Broad Street.

The suspect has been described by police as a black male, approximately 30-years-old, standing 5'9" with a medium build.

Anyone with information about the incident or the suspect is asked to contact police.
