VIDEO: Burglars Use Power Tools During Pharmacy Heist

Philadelphia police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying three suspects who burglarized a Fern Rock pharmacy earlier this week.

The incident occurred around 3:50 a.m. Monday morning at the Broad and Grange Pharmacy on 5751 North Broad Street.

Surveillance cameras captured the incident as two men pulled up to the rear door in a dark, newer model Jeep Cherokee SRT8.

The suspects then used crow bars and power saws to gain entry to the building, and cutting the wire to the alarm system. In the meantime, a third suspect waited outside as a lookout, and relocated the vehicle.

Once inside, police say two of the suspects appear to take specific medications from shelves and drawers. Video then shows the suspects using power tools in an attempt to gain access to a safe.

At one point, the suspects appear to be communicating with the lookout via walkie talkie, and leave the building.

The suspects fled the building and were last seen heading east on Grange Avenue inside the vehicle.

Numerous bottle of prescription drugs were taken.

All three suspects have been described as males of an unknown race.
