VIDEO: Suspect holds up store armed with shotgun
Philadelphia police are looking for a suspect they say robbed an East Germantown store with a shotgun.
The incident occurred on Monday, when police say and unknown man entered the Krispy Crunchy Chicken on the 5500 block of Chew Avenue.
Surveillance video shows the man entering the store, armed with a camouflage shotgun . Once inside, the suspect pointed the gun at the male employee and demanded money from the cash register.
The suspect then placed and unknown amount of cash into a red and white plastic bag, and forced the employee to the floor.
The suspect fled the store, and was last seen heading south, on Chew Avenue from Locust Street. No shots were fired, and no injuries were reported in the incident.
Police have described the suspect as a 20-year-old black male, standing 5'10" with a medium build.
