Voorhees teen arrested after allegedly making threats at school

Police say a teen has been charged in connection with threatening to terrorize students and staff at Eastern Regional High School in Voorhees, New Jersey.

According to investigators, on February 9 police were notified that 18-year-old Jacob Finkelstein was allegedly making false threats during school hours that were heard by multiple students, by stating that he was going to "shoot up the school".

Police reported that no weapons were found at Jacob Finkelstein's residence during the course of the investigation.

Finkelstein was arrested on February 15 and charged with one count of second degree False Public Alarm and one count of third degree Terroristic Threats, according to authorities.

He was remanded to Camden County Correctional Facility pending a court appearance.
