WATCH: Alligator crashes picnic, chomps on sandwich

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Some students at the University of Florida were enjoying a picnic when they were paid a visit by an alligator, WUFT TV reports. The reptile crept out of Lake Alice and proceeded onto a picnic blanket where it began making a meal out of a sandwich. The chomping gator was captured on video by Richard Reed. Reed then helped the students shoo the reptile back into the confines of the lake, according to WUFT.
