WATCH: Suspects smash Wawa registers, steal cigarettes

SOMERTON (WTXF) - Police now say this may not be the first time the bandits have done this. This Wawa at Richmond and Allegheny was held up by two suspects carrying a hammer. According to police, a Wawa out on the main line in Lower Merion was also robbed again by a suspect with a hammer in hand.

Detectives believe the other two robberies are connected. The robbers may be selling the cigarettes also called "loosies" on the street for a sizeable return of up to $20 a pack.
