WATCH SUV smash into Boyds; Police say $50,000 in goods stolen

Police released video of Tuesday morning's smash and grab at Boyds clothing store, as they try to catch the people responsible.

In the video, taken in the 1800 block of Chestnut Street at 4:41am, people in a red 2016 Toyota Rav4 smashed into the store's front window with the back of their vehicle.

According to police, "This vehicle should have significant rear end damage."

Then, police say people unknown people got out, along with people in a silver 2012 Mercedes Benz S350.

They went inside and took numerous clothing items before getting away in an unknown direction.

Police had said there were as many as a half-dozen thieves, and they stole $50,000 of merchandise.
