Wayne Man Arrested For Attempted Child Luring

A man has been arrested for what Radnor Police are calling an attempted child luring at a playground outside of Wayne Elementary School.

According to Radnor Police, a 9/11 call stated that on Wednesday night, an Asian male approached a trio of juveniles near the school and told them he was walking towards a "cabin in the woods." He later made a second approach, but at that point the childrens' parents arrived.

The police soon found and arrested the man, identified as Daniel Lee, 26, of Wayne.

Lee, police said, has been charged with Attempting to Lure Children into a structure, corruption of the morals of a minor, and harassment.

Lee remains in custody and arraignment is scheduled for later Thursday.

Radnor Police have called a press conference for 12:30 p.m. to discuss the case.
