Weather Authority: A foggy start to Friday, rain expected on and off all weekend
PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - A foggy start to Friday in the Delaware Valley, with big changes in store for Sunday.
Friday began foggy with limited visibilities, especially at the Jersey shore. Sunshine was in the forecast for later, with temperatures topping out at 88 degrees.
Periods of drenching rain are expected all throughout the weekend. While it won't be a complete washout, flash flooding could be an issue.
A cold front is expected to cross through the area Friday night into Saturday and a secondary cold front is expected Saturday into Sunday.
Saturday is expected to be very humid, with a high of 80 degrees. After the secondary cold front, Sunday's temperature is expected to top out at 66 degrees.
A warming trend is then expected for the middle of next week.
