Wilmington Crash Involving Two Buses, Car Kills One

Friday morning, Delaware State Police are investigating a fatal crash involving multiple busses and a car.

The incident occurred around 7:45 a.m. on South Market Street, near South Walnut Street in Wilmington.

Authorities say an occupied DART bus, unoccupied School bus, and a passenger car were all involved in the crash.

An occupant of the passenger car died as a result of the crash.

It is unknown if any other injuries were sustained in the incident.

Lanes in both directions have been closed on South Market Street, and traffic is being diverted around the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
