Woman, 24, critical after being shot 9 times in the back in North Philadelphia

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (FOX 29) - A 24-year-old woman is in extremely critical condition after being shot multiple times in North Philadelphia.

Police responded to the 2300 block of Turner Street around 8:45 p.m. Sunday.

They arrived to find a 24-year-old woman shot multiple times in the back and legs.

The woman was rushed to Hahnemann University Hospital, where she is listed in extremely critical condition.

Police say the investigation is active. No weapon has been recovered and no arrests have been made.
