Woman claims that Jesus will cover her tab at Myrtle Beach Restaurant

MYRTLE BEACH, SC - A Myrtle Beach woman told police that she couldn't pay for her $26 seafood buffet because she was expecting Jesus to pick up the tab.

April Lee Yates, 51, was arrested and charged with defrauding a restaurant after she refused to pay her tab at Bennetts Calabash.

Yates had been in the restaurant for four hours when police arrived.

According to The Huffington Post, Yates was disturbing other patrons.

She also said that she had no money and that Jesus would cover the bill.

So far, no one named Jesus has come forward to cover the meal.
