Would-be Concord crook has epic fail

CONCORD, Calif. - (KTVU) - The Concord Police Department is asking for your help to find an alleged thief who just couldn't make off with the goods.

EPIC CROOK FAIL: Do you recognize this thief? She tried to steal a package from a resident's porch in the Crystal Ranch area this week. When she couldn't quite manage it, she decided to steal the resident's dirty shoes from the front porch instead. Please let us know if you know who she is. Police released video of a woman caught on a surveillance camera, as she tried to steal a large package right off someone's front porch in the Crystal Ranch area this week.

But it turns out the box was too heavy for her to lift, so instead she ran off with a pair of the resident's dirty shoes that were left on the porch.
