He was hit by flying metal debris and had to have emergency brain surgery.

When Andre woke up, he only had two concerns - his sister and the Super Bowl!

The backstory:

Andre is one of many victims who were injured when a medical transport plane crashed along Cottman Avenue Friday evening.

Mayor Cherelle Parker confirms at least 24 people were injured during the crash, in addition to the seven people who were killed.

All six Mexican citizens onboard the plane perished in the crash. They were identified as Capt. Alan Alejandro Montoya Perales, co-pilot Josue de Jesus Juarez Juarez, Dr. Raul Meza Arredondo, paramedic Rodrigo Lopez Padilla, patient Valentina Guzman Murillo and her mother, Lizeth Murillo Ozuna.

The seventh victim was killed on the ground, inside a vehicle. Their identity has yet to be released.

An investigation into the cause of the crash continues as investigators sift through debris, and begin to analyze data after discovering the plane's "blackbox," which could reveal vital information.
