Eagles in Dallas to tackle Cowboys, take first place

Sunday night's Eagles-Cowboys game will not just be for bragging rights in the very fierce rivalry. It could also put the Eagles in first place in the very-tight NFC East.

The game will be a matchup of young quarterbacks, Carson Wentz with the birds, facing the Cowboys' Dak Prescott. Both have gotten off to strong starts this season.

Beyond Prescott, the Eagles will also need to stop another rookie for the Cowboys, running back Ezekiel Elliott, who leads the NFL in rushing so far with 703 yards.

The Cowboys go into the game leading the NFC East with a 5-1 record. The second-place Eagles are at 4-2. The New York Giants are at 4-3 and have this week off.

The Washington Redskins are now 4-3-1 after a 27-27 tie against the Cincinnati Bengals in London.
