ESKIN: Reasons the Eagles Need Sam Bradford in 2016

OLD CITY (WTXF) - The Eagles need Sam Bradford this season for many reasons.

One is the obvious; He is the best quarterback on the Eagles right now. He is the starter when he plays, and don't think if Bradford is not here that Carson Wentz will play.

He needs time, so don't think because he was the second player taken in the draft he will play, if Bradford was not here, and I think he will be, Chase Daniel will be the starting quarterback.

But, here is the problem.

With Chase Daniel as the QB, the Eagles may win 4 to 5 games. With Bradford they will win at least 8.

So what does that mean? If the Eagles win 4 to 5 games they will have a draft pick next season in the top 10.

The big problem with that is, the Eagles traded that pick in the draft trade for Carson Wentz. Just think how embarrassing it will be when the Birds have that high a pick and don't have the benefit.

That's why the Eagles will hold the line and Bradford will have to either come in or retire.

There's no way Sam Bradford gives up that 22 million guaranteed. None!
