Nick Foles lands Sports Illustrated cover, again

As Nick Foles continues to lead the Philadelphia Eagles on another magical journey through the playoffs, the back-up quarterback has landed another Sports Illustrated cover.

"Again?!" is the headline on the Jan. 14 issue of the magazine.

"What can the defending champs do for an encore?" the cover reads. "Nick Foles is back and has some ideas."

The cover comes in the wake of the defending Super Bowl champions' 16-15 wild card upset over the Chicago Bears.

Foles hit Golden Tate with a 2-yard touchdown pass on fourth down with 56 seconds remaining against the NFL's stingiest defense, lifting the Eagles past the Bears 16-15 on Sunday in the final wild-card game.

Counting the commemorative Super Bowl issue of the magazine, Foles has made four Sports Illustrated covers.

These Eagles, led by Foles once again replacing an injured Carson Wentz, and a defense down to backups at several positions, seem to have that magical touch like last season.
