Phillies announce 2017 season schedule

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Already looking forward to next season? The Phillies announced their 2017 schedule is out.

They'll open in Cincinnati for the second consecutive year, on April 3.

Their home opener will be on Friday, April 7 at 3:05pm when the Washington Nationals visit Citizens Bank Park.

For interleague play, the Phillies will host the Seattle Mariners (May 9-10), Boston Red Sox (June 14-15) Houston Astros (July 24-26) and Oakland Athletics (Sept. 15-17).

The 2017 promotions schedule will be available at a later date with exciting giveaways and events for fans of all ages.

The annual Phillies Phestival is scheduled for May 11.

For tickets, 6-game and 3-game pack tickets will go on-sale in late November. Group tickets will go on-sale in mid-December. And individual tickets will go on-sale in February.

The Phillies do note, the schedule is subject to change.
