A massive cargo ship made a series of unusual movements while anchored in the closest spot to a Southern California oil pipeline that ruptured and sent crude washing up on beaches, according to data collected by a marine navigation service.

Pipeline developer charged in connection with contamination in Pennsylvania

Attorney General Josh Shapiro announced the case at a news conference at Marsh Creek State Park in Downingtown, where Sunoco Pipeline LP spilled thousands of gallons of drilling fluid last year. The spill, during construction of the troubled Mariner East 2 pipeline, fouled wetlands, a stream and part of a 535-acre lake.

Class-action lawsuit filed in Huntington Beach oil spill

The first federal lawsuit linked to the 126,000 gallons of oil that spilled into the ocean off Huntington Beach is a proposed class-action suit that includes claims to recover damages for individuals and businesses damaged by the massive leak. The man who brought forward the lawsuit also alleges he has been, or will be, exposed to toxic oil contaminants.
