Excessive heat warnings, avisories in effect as heat wave continues Saturday

The heat wave will continue Saturday as temps could get as high as 98, but humidity will make it feel like 109 degrees. Excessive heat warnings remain in effect along the I-95 corridor, while excessive heat watches are in effect in the surrounding areas.

Hazy, hot and humid conditions are expected to continue throughout the weekend. Scattered showers and storms may provide some temporary relief any time over the next several days.

The heat wave should break late in the day on Monday after a cold front moves through the region.
