Excessive heat warnings, watches in effect as heat wave continues Friday

PHILADELPHIA (WTXF)- Friday is here, but the day of relief from this everyone is looking forward to wont be here until next week!

The heat wave will continue Friday as temps get up to 94, but humidity will make it feel like 105 degrees. Excessive heat warnings remain in effect along the I-95 corridor, while excessive heat watches are in effect in the surrounding areas.

Hazy, hot and humid conditions are expected to continue throughout the weekend. Scattered showers and storms may provide some temporary relief any time over the next several days.

The heat wave should break late in the day on Monday after a cold front moves through the region.
