Nor'easter to bring winds, flooding and snow Thursday into Friday

There is a high wind warning as a coastal storm brings rain and wind to our area Thursday into Friday.

Soaking rain will bring 1 to 2 inches. Northwesterly winds can be expected 25-35 miles per hour with sustained gusts up to 60 miles per hour.

FOX 29's Scott Williams expects scattered power outages across the area with most outages occurring at the Delaware and Jersey beaches where wind gusts will range between 50-60 mph.

A flood watch will be in effect Thursday night through Friday night for Philadelphia and areas north and east. Astronomical high tides will be enhanced by tonight's full moon. The Poconos will be under a winter storm warning where 6-12 inches of wet snow is expected.

Shore towns are expected to face the brunt of the storm that is likely to bring several days of rain, wind, and even snow. Coastal flooding and beach erosion are both a possibility.
