Saturday likely to mark first heat wave; Showers loom
OLD CITY (WTXF) - Enjoying your weekend yet? Try to stay cool in the process, as it seems we may find ourselves in the middle of our first heat wave if temps end up in the 90s Saturday.
But that heat may not be here to stay with some rain in the forecast before the holiday weekend comes to a close.

Saturday will bring more of the same weather we've seen the last few days with humidity and a high of 90. There's a chance of scattered afternoon storms, but most of Saturdays rain will mostly affect the Poconos.
Sunday will be partly sunny with the possibility of some showers and a high of 89. Sunday's rain is expected to come later in the day and evening, and carry on into Monday.
Monday will be a bit more cloudy and will likely put a real damper on the weekend with more showers possible and a high of 78.
Keep cool, stay hydrated, and have fun this weekend!
